Goldie’s Golden Egg Hunt Competition Terms and Conditions

1. These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) relate to the FARMER BROWN Goldie’s Golden Egg Hunt promotion (“Promotion”). By creating an account for the Promotion, you accept these Terms and Conditions.

2. The promoter is Mainland Poultry Limited (“Promoter”).

3. The Promotion commences at 00:01AM on 17 March 2025 and closes at 11:59PM on 27 April 2025 (“Promotional Period”). Entries received outside of the Promotional Period will not be accepted.

Eligibility to enter

4. All entrants into the Promotion must:

   1. Be a permanent resident or citizen of New Zealand.
   2. Be aged 15 years or older.

   Any entries in the Promotion which do not comply with the above criteria will be deemed invalid.

5. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related companies and any other persons or companies associated with the Promotion are ineligible to enter.

6. Entrants aged less than 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter the Promotion. These Terms and Conditions will bind the entrants and any parent or legal guardian who gives their consent (for entrants aged less than 18 years).

Prizes

7. The prize pool consists of the following prizes:

   1. 6 × $10,000 cash prizes;
   2. 300 × $50 grocery vouchers from either Woolworths New Zealand, New World, PAKn’SAVE, Fresh Choice, Four Square, Super Value Supermarkets or The Warehouse Gift Card from The Warehouse in New Zealand; and
   3. 600 × FARMER BROWN Goldie Goodie packs consisting of a FARMER BROWN cap, a teaspoon and a voucher for a carton of FARMER BROWN Cage Free Barn or Colony dozen eggs redeemable nationwide at New Zealand supermarkets. Each Goldie Goodie pack is valued at NZ$40.

8. There will be one $10,000 cash prize drawn each week during the Promotional Period.

9. The grocery vouchers and FARMER BROWN Goldie Goodie packs will be awarded as follows:

   1. Entrants who collect 10 pink eggs will win a grocery voucher. There will be 50 vouchers each week to be won (total of 300 vouchers during the Promotional Period). Once all 300 vouchers have been won there will no more pink eggs to be found.
   2. Entrants who collect 10 blue eggs will win a FARMER BROWN Goldie Goodie pack. There will be 100 packs each week to be won (a total of 600). Once all 600 packs have been won there will be no more blue eggs to be found.

How to enter

10. To enter into the Promotion, entrants must:

    1. purchase any eligible promotional pack of FARMER BROWN Cage Free Barn or Colony Eggs within New Zealand during the Promotional Period (whilst stocks last). Eligible promotional packs are:

       1. FARMER BROWN Colony Size 6 dozen;
       2. FARMER BROWN Colony Size 7 dozen;
       3. FARMER BROWN Cage Free Barn Size 6 dozen; and
       4. FARMER BROWN Cage Free Barn Size 7 dozen.

    2. scan the QR code on pack or related marketing material or visit www.goldenegghunt.co.nz;

    3. create an account on the Goldie’s Golden Egg Hunt website www.goldenegghunt.co.nz using a valid email address, Google account, Apple account or Facebook account;

    4. upload to their account a valid receipt showing the purchase of an eligible promotional pack of FARMER BROWN eggs; and

    5. play Goldie’s Golden Egg Hunt by using the map feature that will appear on screen to find pink, blue and golden eggs. Once close enough to an egg, click on it to add it to your basket. An animation will appear confirming that the egg has been added to your basket.

11. Each golden egg found provides one entry into that week’s prize draw for a $10,000 cash prize.

12. Each valid receipt allows you to play Goldie’s Golden Egg Hunt for 7 days. During those 7 days you may play as many times as you like. Purchasing more than one eligible promotional pack of FARMER BROWN eggs within one transaction does not give you more than one 7-day pass to play the game. For a new 7-day pass to play, you must purchase another eligible promotional pack (whilst stocks last) and upload the receipt to your account.

Prize Draw and Winner Notification

13. The $10,000 cash prizes will be drawn weekly on the following dates:

    1. 24 March 2025
    2. 31 March 2025
    3. 07 April 2025
    4. 14 April 2025
    5. 21 April 2025
    6. 28 April 2025 The Promoter reserves the right to amend the prize draw dates at any time, and these Terms and Conditions will be updated with the amended prize draw dates.

14. Prize winners will be chosen at random by the Promoter or its third party partner from all eligible entries.

15. Prize winners will be notified within 10 working days of the relevant prize draw, using the email address registered to the entrant’s account. Prize winners will then be required to provide further information to enable the prize to be delivered to them.

16. In the event that a prize winner cannot be contacted within 10 working days of a draw occurring or if the Promoter determines that a winner is not eligible to participate in a draw, the prize will be forfeited, a further draw will be conducted, and the prize allocated to the new winner. The Promoter is not responsible if a prize winner cannot be contacted following the draw due to incorrect contact details being provided by the prize winner.

17. Prizes will only be awarded to the person named in the entry to the Promotion and prize winners cannot nominate another person to receive the prize. If the prize winner is under 18 years old, the prize will be issued to their parent or guardian.

General Terms

18. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. The amended Terms and Conditions will take effect from the date they are uploaded to the Goldie’s Golden Egg Hunt website.

19. There is no guarantee of finding any eggs (golden, pink or blue) during participation in the Golden Egg Hunt.

20. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of the receipt into the Promotion database and not at the time of transmission by you.

21. Non-cash prizes cannot be varied and are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

22. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of eligibility to enter the Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, including proof of identity, age, citizenship/residency and proof of a valid receipt of an eligible promotional product. In the event that such proof is not provided by the winner or is not accepted by the Promoter acting reasonably, then that winner shall forfeit the prize and the Promoter reserves the right to select a new winner for the prize.

23. The Promoter may disqualify any entrant (including any prize winner) who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or otherwise breaches these Terms and Conditions, or who has, in the opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct which is unlawful, objectionable, improper, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promoter or the Promotion.

24. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any website, telephone network or lines, computer systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries.

25. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, suspend or modify the Promotion.

26. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries that for whatever reason, are not received by the Promoter or are incomplete.

27. Any prize winner over the age of 18 agrees to co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including being interviewed, photographed or filmed. The winner agrees to their personal information, including their name, image and/or voice, being used by the Promoter in connection with the Promotion, or the advertising or marketing thereof, whether during or after the end of the Promotional Period, in any media whatsoever throughout New Zealand. Where the winner is under the age of 18, the Promoter may request the consent of the winner and their parent or guardian to use their personal information for the purpose referred to in this clause.

28. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, neither the Promoter nor its employees or agents will be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature incurred or suffered by any person (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or with winning, redeeming or benefiting from any prize.

Privacy

29. The Promoter will comply with the Privacy Act 2020 in relation to its use of personal information.

30. The Promoter will collect certain personal information about you for the purposes of administering the Promotion, including verifying eligibility of entrants, notifying prize winners and delivering prizes to winners. In particular, the Promoter will collect your email address for the purpose of registering an account to allow you to play the Goldie’s Golden Egg Hunt and to communicate with you regarding playing the game and any prize won. If you win a prize in a prize draw, the Promoter will request your phone number and postal address (for voucher or prize pack prizes) and your bank account details (for a $10,000 cash prize). The Promoter may also request that a prize winner provides documentation to verify their eligibility to enter the Promotion, for example driver’s licence, passport, and/or residency information. If the prize winner declines to provide the information requested, the Promoter may not be able to deliver the prize to the winner and reserves the right to select a different winner to receive the prize.

31. Your personal information will be shared with our third party partners who administer the Promotion, including Gravitate (a digital agency we partner with to record entries into the Promotion) and WORK Communications (a communications agency which assists us with redemption of prizes). Personal information will not be shared with any other third parties.

32. Any personal information provided for the purpose of redeeming a prize will be stored in encrypted format and will be destroyed within two years of the end of the Promotional Period.

33. Your personal information is also collected to enable us to market other products which we believe you may be interested in.

34. Your personal information may be used in the future by the Promoter and the third party partners named above for marketing other products and in promotional communications.
